Gardens, golf courses and other recreational areas have to be tended and weeded to keep them in good condition.  Lakes, ponds, rivers, streams and large water features are just the same.  They can be effectively destroyed as amenities if the plants and weed that grow in them are not managed.
Water management professionals have for many years recognised the value of regular aquatic plant harvesting to protect the environment and wildlife both in and out of the water.

The challenge is to do it effectively!

Traditional methods of controlling and managing excessive plant growth by applying chemicals or manually raking the surface of weed have proved to be ineffective. Unless carefully removed, the cut vegetation rots and, over time, leads to excessive amounts of silt, very low oxygen levels and polluted water which cannot sustain healthy aquatic life.
Waterway Management is a solution focused, Suffolk-based Company that offers an effective, high technology solution to weed management and harvesting.
